We have two monthly class cards for Institute Members. These make it easier to check-in to classes and can save you money if you’re a regular student:
Anytime Beginners & General:
Attend any Beginners, General or Beginners/General level class day or evening, 7 days a week during the month for a one-off fee of £89.00*
Attend any class, including Teachers’ Yoga Class if you are a qualified Iyengar Yoga teacher, day or evening, 7 days a week during the month for a one-off fee of £99.00*
* On the advice of our teachers, classes are limited to one per day. Please do not attend classes that the level of your practice does not justify. If in doubt, ask a teacher. Anytime Cards are strictly time-limited and cannot be extended. Anytime cards are activated from first use and are valid for 30 days.
Please note: possession of a prepaid Anytime card does not confer any priority right or guarantee a place in any particular class.
Yogacards are advance payment cards giving 11 classes for the price of 10. They may be purchased by members only and must be presented for stamping along with a current membership card.
They are valid for 6 months from the day of purchase while membership is current.
In exceptional cases, such as illness or injury, we may at our discretion extend the validity of Yogacards provided that the membership remains valid throughout the period of the extension. However, in these cases, the bonus 11th class will not be valid.
Applications for extensions to Yogacards should be addressed to email@example.com and must state reasons for requesting an extension.

City Save cards must be presented at the time of each purchase. The card is for personal use only and may not be used for multiple purchases or to buy classes or courses on behalf of any other person.
*Attendance at IYIMV as a visitor is limited to one calendar month. Visitors may not attend more than 1 class per day.
The Institute is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee, and relies on both membership income and yoga class fees to fund the running of the centre.
You may attend classes as a visitor for a maximum of one calendar month, after which we ask that you consider becoming a member.

The membership fee is not refundable. Memberships cannot be extended or suspended.
* An annual membership qualifies you to vote at general meetings of the company and to stand for election to the Board of Trustees after a qualifying period of 1 year.
** A 3-monthly membership is an ‘associate membership’ that does not carry voting rights. A 3-monthly membership is included in the price of our Inroduction to Iyengar Yoga Courses.
Fill in a membership form which you can pick up at the Institute or download here. You can make payments over the phone with a credit card or in person. You can join and attend a class straight away. Once your membership is processed, there will be a membership card waiting for you at reception.
Please bring your card with you each time you attend the yoga class.
If you are late in renewing your annual membership, it will be backdated to when your membership expired.
Concessions are available to members with proof of status:
Concessions are not available for pre-booked courses, some workshops, Pregnancy or Remedial classes.
Documentary proof must be produced at each visit and must not be more than 3 months old. You must also have a valid membership.
Concessions for state pension holders are available to those who are living solely on state pension and are not working. Members wishing to receive age-related concessions must produce evidence of date of birth for our records.
Nurses Half Price Beginners Classes
Nurses can claim half price Beginners classes at the concessionary rate of £7. Please bring proof of profession.
Discounted Beginners Classes
Two Beginners classes are open to students on Jobseeker’s Allowance at the discounted rate of £2.50 when proof of JSA is provided. You do not need Membership to attend these classes at the discounted rate.
Discounted Introduction to Iyengar Yoga Course
We have a dedicated number of concessionary places for students receiving Jobseekers Allowance (JSA) and Employment & Support Allowance (ESA) on our Introduction to Iyengar Yoga Courses. The usual price for the six week course is £72 and includes four free Beginners class and 3 month IYIMV Membership. The concessionary places include the same benefits and cost £25. Find out more >
